• Nanocomposite coatings, Smart coatings (self-clean, self-healing and anti-graffiti), Powder coatings (Formulation and production), Road markings (Traffic paints, Thermoplastic pavement markings), and Mechanical properties of polymeric coatings.

• Enhancing Corrosion performance and mechanical properties of epoxy-based nanocomposite coatings using zirconia and clay nanoparticles.
• Study of different types of traffic paints and instruction for application and selection of road markings
• Preparation of powder molding compound (PMC), and investigation of their properties and applications
• Study of mechanisms of adhesion and dis-bonding of powder coated aluminium
• Instructions for; formulation, application and selection of pavement markings for various road conditions and different climatic conditions.
• Preparation of drag reducer coatings for bodies moving in sea water.
• Study and lab scale preparation of PP for coating applications to be used in automotive industries.
• Enhancing mechanical properties of powder coatings using various nanoparticles.
• Synthesis of maleic modified rosin ester for road marking applications.
• Modification of thermoplastic roads markings` Formulation.
• Preparation of guidelines for designing and implementing traffic road markings.
• Modification of viscoelastic properties of thermoplastic alkyd traffic paints.
• Improving weathering properties of polyester-based powder coatings using silica and titania nanoparticles.
• Effects of oxygen argon and nitrogen plasma, and air corona on the adhesive properties and printability of film blowing polypropylene (BOPP).
• Surface modification of titanium dioxide pigments in order to improve disperse–ability the particles in polyolefin matrixes.
