Biography

Dr. D. R. Patil is working as Head of the Dept of Physics at R. L. College, Parola, Dist - Jalgaon, MHS, India. He established the Research lab in Physics at R. L. College Parola, Jalgaon. The name of the research lab is Bulk and Nanomaterials Research laboratory. He collaborated with many institutes and Universities for the research work. The students of many reputed institutions and Universities are working in his lab. The research scholars from the Universities of Nagpur, Amravati, Pune, Kolhapur, Goa, Solapur, Mumbai, Anand, Jaipur, Chennai, etc. are working in his labopratories. His major topics of interests are: Bulk and Nanomaterials, Thin and Thick film Physics, Ferrites, Nanomaterials: synthesis and characterizations, Electrical and optoelectronics behaviour of the synthesized materials, Gas sensors and Chemical Sensors, etc. He published 38 research articles in the journals of high impact factors and having National and International repute. He has many citations to his articles with h-index :13 and i-10 index: 13. He has an all citations of 746. Few of his articles are in the top ranking as most downloaded articles and most cited articles. He worked as an Author and Reviewer for the most reputed journals viz. Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, Talanta, Sensors IEEE, Bulletin of Materials Science-Springer, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Current Applied Physics, Sensor letters, Sensors and Transducers, etc. He found the fluorescent materials which is very low cost, simple and available in abundant on Earth's surface
